Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CNC Conviction OS (“CNC”, “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Nature of Service

• CNC analyzes publicly available SEC EDGAR filings and market data
• Conviction scores are algorithmic outputs, not buy/sell recommendations
• All investment decisions are solely your responsibility
• Past performance indicators do not guarantee future results
• You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• One account per person; account sharing is not permitted
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use CNC data to provide investment advice to others without proper licensing
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download CNC data for redistribution
• Attempt to reverse-engineer conviction scoring algorithms
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal application usage
• Misrepresent CNC outputs as professional financial advice

5. Data Accuracy

CNC sources financial data from SEC EDGAR filings and other public sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. Financial data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors inherent in the source filings.

You are responsible for verifying any data before making financial decisions. CNC shall not be liable for losses arising from data inaccuracies.

6. Subscription & Billing

• Free tier provides limited access to core features
• Premium (ELITE) tier unlocks advanced analysis, triggers, and historical data
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial subscription purchase
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

7. Intellectual Property

CNC's conviction scoring methodology, user interface design, and proprietary analysis algorithms are the intellectual property of CNC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our proprietary systems.

SEC EDGAR data is public domain. CNC's processing, scoring, and presentation of this data is proprietary.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CNC AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF CNC SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
